The units can be customised for your needs, including integration of recording functions into the BMS, safety features for BSL 2-3-4, maintenance features (integrated CIP, system decontamination, vent filter “operation cycle” management etc), redundant design, pH adjustment, defoaming and so on.

The Duo-Batch and Multi-Batch series are the big brothers of Micro-Batch, and can decontaminate from 10 000 to 50 000 liters per day. The unit has no heat exchanger and no pump, takes a small footprint, and can be adapted to BSL2-3-4 applications. Optionally, heat recovery can be installed in order to save on the utilities, with integrated automatic CIP cycle.

Duo-batch
The units are designed as if they were made for sterile applications, with the same stringent respect for the barriers between contaminated and decontaminated effluent as in sterilisation.
The control system is made with robust batch validation in mind, including all necessary data for correct recording of the decontamination cycles.
The decontamination module returns to a safe state after every decontamination cycle.
In case of a blocking alarm, the system automatically sends back the effluent to the collection tank in order to allow decontamination of the empty decontamination module before safe repair of the system can be carried out.
Experienced personnel can participate in customer-led HAZOP-studies in order to verify that all critical safety barriers have been considered whether it be connections to utilities, procedures for maintenance or for entry into the plant room etc.
